Highland Forwarding was founded in 1998 with the belief that we can set new standards
for the forwarding industry.
We are obsessed with customer happiness and will go out of our way to delight
a client. We add a custom designed, personalized level of service to each transaction.
Each client must feel that he or she is the most important person in the world for
us. We try to do all the little tasks for our clients that they normally do
themselves (such as our Fax Preadvice to all consignees overseas directly
with shipping details). Another very popular service we provide automatically is
our Post-flight Confirmation on all air shipments to both shipper
and consignee.
All of these services free up our clients to focus on other tasks, and leaves
the worries of getting the shipment there to us.
We look at the relationship shipper-forwarder as a partnership. We will guide
a shipper through the process, offer consulting services to custom design best
routing for each order. We will do whatever it takes to get the shipment to its
destination in the promised timeframe. We will take care of the shipper’s
needs and take care of the cargo. In the past this included arranging an airfreight
shipment at no charge to our client to meet a missed deadline on ocean shipment (delay caused
through no fault of our own). This is how our motto came into existence "We
Take Care Of You." We provide a total logistics solution and a
long-term relationship. This means we will stand by our clients even in hard
times and make sure they can (in turn) keep their customers happy.
